The Finca El Rincón, the other Tenerife, offers a unique combination of advantages:
Unique Location
Set in an exclusive location directly on the rugged Atlantic coast, the finca offers breathtaking sea views and often spectacular sunsets. It is an ideal retreat for lovers of the ocean — its vastness, its rhythm, and its fresh sea air.
Sandy beaches just below the finca bask in a milder, sunnier climate than the higher elevations, while Spain’s highest mountain, Mount Teide (3,718 m), towers dramatically in the distance.
Please note: direct access to the beach below the finca is temporarily closed due to works. However, another sandy beach with lifeguard service, a beach bar, and a restaurant is located nearby and can be reached from the finca via the coastal road
Pure Nature
Located in the only green zone of the Orotava Valley close to the sea — once described by Alexander von Humboldt as “the most beautiful valley in the world” — the finca is set within approximately 18,000 sqm of natural, organic gardens rich in vegetation.
Far from hustle and bustle, noise, and exhaust fumes — with no roads or factories in sight — the setting is exceptionally peaceful. Most of the time, the only sounds you’ll hear are the waves of the Atlantic and birdsong in the early morning (we do have chickens, but no crowing rooster!).
The finca’s idyllic garden offers plenty of space for sunbathing, picnics, relaxing, and enjoying the peace of nature. Garden furniture, sun loungers, and portable umbrellas are provided for use around the finca and at the beach.
Individuality
With only eight individual apartments in total, spread across four buildings and four different apartment types, the finca offers an intimate and peaceful atmosphere. Each apartment is unique, with sizes to suit your needs. The “Casita” (No. 6) is a charming, self-contained little house. A wide range of services is provided.
Diversity
The finca also features a swimming pool, a pond with ducks, turtles, and fish, a barbecue area, table tennis, and on-site parking. All apartments — with the exception of the studio (one-bedroom apartment No. 2) — offer sea views and a private terrace overlooking the ocean. The larger apartments (three-bedroom apartments Nos. 7 and 8) each have two sea-view terraces.
Puerto and Orotava
Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz, both with charming historic centres, are located nearby. Puerto de la Cruz is also a lively resort town and small port, known for its impressive seaside promenades. Both destinations can be reached in around 10 minutes by car, or on foot in approximately 50 minutes via a beautiful coastal path that leads into the town. Taxis are inexpensive and readily available.
Discover Tenerife
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and offers an exceptionally varied landscape. The motorway can be reached in just five minutes, yet remains inaudible thanks to its higher elevation and the prevailing sea breeze. A bus stop is also located nearby.
